Itinerary
Princes’ Islands (Kızıl Adalar or just Adalar) are a chain of nine small islands in the Sea of Marmara. They evolved from a place of exile during the Byzantine era, to a popular destination to escape the busy city life for a day. Of those nine islands, only four of them are open to the public: Büyükada, the biggest and most popular, and our final destination being one of them.
After a 1.5 hours ferry ride, we will dock and for sure you will be surprised; there are no cars in the island, just bikes and phaetons (horse drawn carriages). A carriage will be waiting, taking you for a ride through the pine roads and beautiful natural landscapes the island has to offer.
The lunch will be provided at a calm and local restaurant.
During your free time, you have the chance of exploring the Ottoman wooden houses with big and beautiful garden and churches or walk to Aya Yorgi Church and Monastery which is located on the hill of island.

- Island is closed to traffic because of that mostly all attractions are in walking distance so at the tour, a moderate amount of walking is involved
